After the long battle in Leg 1B, rally cars were receiving service at Kita Aikoku Service Park. As the service must be finished within 45 minutes, and time penalty will be charged to the crew of the car which exceeded the limit, mechanics were working very efficiently.
Rally cars after the service will be kept in Parc Ferme, where access to the car is restricted, while waiting for the Leg 2.
The first car is due to depart Kita Aikoku at 6:20am after 20 minutes’ service in the morning.

Fans cheering up rally crews

The road in front of Fujimaru Department Store is selected as area for fans to cheer up the rally crews, and crews were empowered with passions of rally fans before the SS10, which is a final stage for the Leg 1B.

What’s going on at Kita Aikoku today

Kita Aikoku service park is full of families enjoying the day under the fine weather.

In the morning a soccer lesson was held with Tsuyoshi Kitazawa, an ex-J League player, and in the afternoon there is a show by an on-screen talent, Misono. Moreover, a food court, which consists of many stands of famous Hokkaido food gathers a lot of families buying products.
